My child, you are doing well.
You are putting me first.
I do want you to experience more of Me.
Study my life through the gospels.
Be aware I do lead and guide you because I love you.
My love does not change or get weary.
The same love that brought me to Calvary
sustains you today.
Today is all you have!
So many times we project ourselves into the future and cause unneeded worry and frustration. I often think of Christ’s life as a carpenter waiting patiently for his Father to tell him when he should start his ministry. Jesus trusted God, while being of flesh and blood the same as you and me, to remain in his profession until God’s timing took him elsewhere.
Matthew 6: 33, 34 (NIV) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
I find my days go better when I take time for my devotions in the morning. Where God leads I desire to follow.
