His Word Directs

My child, I love to see you excited!
I will help you as you sort out your priorities.
You learn as you sit at my feet.
You learn as you read my Word.

The fourth step in the book “The Hour that Changes the World ” by Dick Eastman is reading the Word.  I asked the Lord to help me make a decision whether to teach a Sunday School Class at my church for January and February. I hesitated to add one more thing to an already busy schedule.

Then I read 1 Timothy 4:11-14 (NLT) “Teach those things…Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures…encouraging the believers, and teaching them.”

I discovered God can give me direction from His Holy Scriptures. It was very exciting and the class this Sunday went well.

May the remaining Sunday School sessions go well too. What age group are you teaching?

  2. mercy LORD says:

Sitting at the feet of Jesus, O what words I heart Him say! O how blessed we are to Know Him. O Lord Jesus teach us all. How awesome that the LORD of glory invites us to Come unto Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
