Walk in My World

Breathe in new life from walking in the ancient
world of trees and oceans.
Being outdoors revives you more than
the comfort of your home,
the warmth of electric heat and lights.
There is something special which is only gained
by being at one with the elements.
Enjoy the wet mists, the ocean spray and the wind.
This is my world!
A world not made with human hands –
a world created by me which revives your soul.
Stroll the coast, hike the trails,
and refresh your mind and body.
Set aside the mundane things of life to enjoy my world.

A few years ago, when I wrote this ‘listening’, we visited Olympic National Park on the west coast of the State of Washington. It was awesome. The huge redwood trees were magnificent. Hiking for three days in this beautiful part of our country did refresh our minds and bodies.

Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
