I Provide

I provide all you need!
Much has been given, be faithful with little things.
The prayers which you faithfully pray for your family
are being answered.
You feel genuine affection for all of them.
Let your actions reflect your love and concern.
Allow Me to do my work in all their lives.
Your work is simply to show the actions and say
the words of love!

” But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

Aren’t you glad that God does supply all we need? There were so many times as I raised our children, I needed his direction. I am more aware of my failures than the successes. However, they are all grown up now and we are very proud of them.

One of our priorities throughout their lives was prayer. As they grew up and left our home, we still took the time to remember them each day, asking God to guide them in the challenges they faced. Now, not only do we pray for our children, but we have the privilege of praying for our grandchildren. At times, I believe, all the Lord wants us to do is to pray for their spiritual, emotional and physical needs as well as to show our love in our actions. We do this by trying to visit each year, lending a hand, and remembering all their special days. We need to allow God to do his special work in each of their lives. We are God’s children and so are they and He loves them far more than we can even imagine.
